Iterated Cranes

Painting Details

Watercolor on gesso'd archival paper
19 x 25
Another version of white cranes at night, this one larger than the first, using gesso'd paper, which allows for intense pigment. When a second layer of thin paint is applied, it beads up in random patterns, as visible in the night sky to the right of the right-hand crane.

Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about any of my images. All represent original paintings, not reproductions. I have many more paintings than are shown on this site. And, since I frequently work in series, there may be additional views of the subjects shown here.
