The morning sun coming up over the ridge hit the frost on the little twigs at the ends of the branches, melting it and creating sparkles. Light also bounced on the trunks from the surrounding snow.
I'm always intrigued how a groupings of any similar objects invokes a primal emotion in us -- together, apart, reaching, yearning.
