Port of Seattle "Purposeful Surfaces" November 2009 - February 2010
This empty container ship was docked off downtown Seattle. The hull was so large and the shapes of the cabin structure so strange, it looked as if an alien spaceship had landed on the deck. I remain awed by the scale of these vessels, but there is also something poignant about one not in use.
