Up on the Granite Glacier near Pioneer Pass, the view of the shoulder of Pioneer, the Stickle, Adamant and Austerity was breathtaking. They are located in the northern Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. The lower photo on this page shows me sketching the drawing that is the basis on this painting.
