Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park in British Columbia is a wonderful place to hike and paint. There is a lodge granfathered into the center of the park that makes a perfect base. No better life exists than to get up in the morning, hike in beautiful alpine terrain, paint for several hours, return, shower, eat good food, sleep and repeat.
